KEY Programme Graduates! On Thursday 27th May twelve students successfully graduated from KEY Programme. Students attended the impressive graduation ceremony in Belfast’s Waterfront Hall. During 2009 / 10 these students enthusiastically participated in four KEY residentials based in Killowen. Students from St Patrick’s Academy worked in collaboration with pupils from Lough Allen College, Leitrim and Lisnaskea, Fermanagh. Together they learned about enterprise training and engaged in a range of outdoor pursuit activities. The graduates together with their parents attended the celebration ceremony.
Year 11 KEY programme graduates wish Jessica good luck for Canada! Graduate nominated to go to Canada! The graduation ceremony was particularly special as Jessica O’Neill (pictured above) was nominated by KEY programme leaders to be a student representative at a prestigious Young Enterprise conference in Canada. Jessica was selected by the management of Young Enterprise because of her commitment, enthusiasm and positive contribution while on KEY residential throughout 2009/10. This is an impressive achievement as Jessica is one of the twenty four nominees selected from 900 KEY participants in Ireland. Staff and students are very proud of Jessica’s well deserved success! |

The artwork was based on the woven patterns created in the fabrics produced in the mill. The pupils designed and produced stencils to print from. They selected eye catching, bright colours and attached their work to poles creating flags for the parade. Thank you and well done to everyone who took part. (More photo's in Gallery) |
