Our Athletics team from years 8 and 9 recently participated in the Lisburn District School's team event, held at Friends School.  The boys team finished a credible 4th in the overall standings.  This achievement was however surpassed by the girls team who finished an impressive 3rd overall.  As it was the top 2 schools that qualified through to the Ulster trials the girls were very unfortunate not to go through.  Special credit must go to both Declan O'Hanlon and Megan McGarry who both finished 2nd in their individual events.  Well done to all the pupils who attended the event and performed admirably on the day.
