CCEA (Council for the Curriculum Examinations and Assessment) Subject Content The subject content is organised into a number of historical periods which provide contexts for teaching and learning, related to two types of study, (i) Study in Depth and (ii) an Outline Study. Candidates are required to make two Studies in Depth. One study should be selected from: - Germany c1918 - 1941
- Russia c1916 - 1941
- United States of America c1918 - 1941
One study should be selected from: - Peace, war and neutrality: Britain, Northern Ireland and Ireland and the Second World War c1932 - 1949
- Changing Relationships: Britain, Northern Ireland and Ireland c1965 - 1985
