The Chief Medical Officer, Dr. Michael McBride, has written to parents and carers to outline actions which should be taken if their child(ren) develops Covid-19 symptoms.
The letter outlines actions which should be taken by parents and carers if their children develop Covid-19 symptoms and a leaflet gives advice on the steps to take if a child or anyone they live with develops symptoms.

Face coverings
The Minister of Education, Peter Weir, has announced that teachers and pupils must wear a face covering(mask) in corridors and other communal areas. In light of this announcement please discuss this change with your child and ensure that he/she carries sufficient face coverings with them to allow them to follow this instruction throughout the day.
Masks are mandatory for all dedicated school transport including buses and taxis. Any adult visiting the school must wear a face covering.
