Principal's Welcome

Saint Patrick’s Academy is a vibrant and caring learning community. We are a close knit community and our values are based on the Catholic ethos. We recognise the uniqueness of each child and we are committed to helping him/her reach their full potential in a harmonious, joyful and respectful environment.
Staff, pupils and parents work closely to enrich and widen the life experiences of each individual student. We strive for excellence both academically and socially as we help our learners to develop morally, spiritually and academically in a climate of dignity and happiness.
We have high expectations of pupils and staff. We strive to instil in our pupils a passion for lifelong learning, a respect for others and to realise this we invest time in developing bespoke courses that will allow all our pupils to progress along their chosen career path. We are also committed to keeping our classes small so pupils receive a more focused learning experience.
At the core of our learning community is an excellent pastoral care programme that supports each child from Yr8 to Yr14 as they navigate their learning journey. We are willing to go the “extra mile” for our students and their happiness and welfare is paramount to us.
We realise our unique role in the lives of our students and we are dedicated to supporting every aspect of their learning journey as we prepare them for the challenges of life as twenty first century citizens.
