The St Patrick's Academy PTA is just over one year old. We have been working tirelessly, in this time, to enrich the educational experience of all pupils at the school.  In a consultation, between the school student council and the PTA, a water fountain and a bike shelter became the first fundraising goals. The hardworking PTA have achieved the funding for both these goals through many different fundraisers in our first year.

 

The PTA is also working to build relationships in the wider community and to create a support network for new and existing parents. We have planned fundraising opportunities in the local community with our upcoming table quiz in October 2025. The PTA successfully reintroduced our school talent show in December 2024. This was a highly successfully event enabling our pupils to showcase their talents and bringing the school community together to celebrate this. This really did enhance the school experience for, not only those performing on the night, but the wider school community. The PTA have also funded a monthly attendance award to encourage our students to increase their overall attendance. This award has had a significant impact in increasing overall school attendance. This enhances the learning opportunities for our pupils, as when they are in school, they are learning.

The PTA have also introduced a pre-loved uniform bank, which has been very well supported by parents. It is available all year round and provides all items of our school uniform,
