Education

St Patrick’s Academy is a successful Catholic, coeducational, all ability school East of Lough Neagh; we teach 11-18 year olds and are the only local school catering for the children from Lisburn, Glenavy and Crumlin.

The School’s enrolment number is 530 and the admission number each year is capped at 106.

Pupils are admitted between the ages of 11 and 18 from local feeder primary schools. We believe, along with our Bishops, that pupils should attend their local Catholic School and thus help the development of a true Christian community.

We are delighted that our position as an allinclusive centre of faith-based excellence that strives to remove the damaging social barriers that exist in our society has been recognised by the Department of Education in its recent inspection report. We are committed to a shared future and actively welcome all.

We are a Catholic School; not a school just for Catholics.

Prospective parents and pupils are invited to contact the school to seek further information about any aspect of our school's Faith-based Learning Community. Enquiries should be addressed to the Principal.
