Key Stage 3

At St. Patrick’s all KS3 pupils study Spanish.  Pupils work through a variety of topics and develop the four skills of listening, reading, writing and speaking.  We aim to promote Spanish Language and Culture and foster in the pupils an appreciation of its importance on a global scale.  We promote positive attitudes to language learning by offering both enjoyment and intellectual stimulation.  We also endeavour to encourage skills, language and attitudes which will be useful for further study and for vocational and leisure application and to encourage positive attitudes of tolerance and understanding of speakers of other languages.
